Studio & Workshop Terms

Last updated: 30 September 2026 · Effective date: 30 September 2026

These terms cover in-person ceramics workshops and classes at the Prague studio, and any physical ceramic goods we sell. Our online courses and master-classes are covered separately by our Terms & Conditions. Company details are in our Imprint.

1. The seller

2. Results and technical risks

Making ceramics involves high-temperature physical and chemical processes. Our instructors give professional guidance, but clay and glaze behaviour during drying and firing is inherently unpredictable, so we cannot guarantee the structural integrity or the final look of your work.

Warping, cracks, or breakage that happen during drying or firing are a normal part of the process and are not a failure of our service. We are not obliged to provide financial compensation or a free replacement session in these cases.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling

In-person sessions reserve studio resources for you, so the following applies to individual bookings and single workshops:

4. Multi-session passes and memberships

5. Storage and collection

We do not offer long-term storage. Please finish glazing and collect your finished pieces within six (6) months of your first class. After six months, uncollected or unglazed items are treated as abandoned, and we may dispose of or repurpose them without further notice or liability.

6. Age

For safety, children under 12 may attend only with a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the child during the session.

7. Studio safety and property

Please follow all safety briefings and instructions from our staff. We are not liable for injuries caused by a failure to follow the safety rules. You are responsible for any intentional or negligent damage you cause to studio equipment or property.

8. Physical goods

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Czech law, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent Czech courts. Your mandatory consumer-protection rights are not affected.
